The pattern for our trapper hat was adapted from the hats of the early fur trappers, worn while roaming the wild Northwest Territory. The hat is crafted from the finest genuine sheepskin to keep you warm, even in the foulest weather conditions. The pull-down ear flaps can be worn 4 ways: use the Velcro closure to keep the ear flaps up, down under the chin, behind the neck, or turn hat completely around and use what was the front flap to cover your neck for survival warmth.
